Here is a funny Ilocano joke that I found out on FB. English translation included.
AGINA
(Mother and Daughter)
(ANAK naggapu pagadalan agsangsangit)
(child [daughter] came home crying)
ANAK: inang, inang, hu hu hu
CHILD: Mother mother! (crying)
INA: anak apay agsangsangit ka?
MOTHER: Why are you crying my child?
ANAK: uy-uyawen dak dagiyay kaklasek.
CHILD: My classmates are teasing me.
INA: anya ti ibag-baga da?
MOTHER: What are they saying?
ANAK: nagdakkel kanu ngiwat ko!
CHILD: My mouth is big.
INA: panpansinim tu met gamin isuda. Ingka man ketdi alain jay pala ta mangan tan.
MOTHER: Don't mind them. Why don't you go get the shovel instead so we can go eat.
The last sentence was hard for me to translate.
